About the Role

Dolan Design HVAC & Plumbing is hiring experienced HVAC service technicians. We’re looking for technicians who can walk into a service call, diagnose the problem, and complete the repair. What We’re Looking For

Required

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC service experience (residential and/or light commercial)
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specs
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across heating and cooling systems (gas, electric, heat pump, mini-split)
• Ability to work independently in customers’ homes with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, on rooftops, and in all weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service communication
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Preferred

• NATE certification
• Experience with all major brands
• Knowledge of local mechanical codes
• Basic ductwork and sheet-metal experience
• Cross-trade plumbing experience is a plus (but not required)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Rotating on-call coverage for select weekends
• Overtime available

About the Role

We are looking for professional, courteous, and committed mechanics to deliver a great experience for every customer. The successful candidate must be able to install, wire, & start up residential HVAC systems with a minimum of 2 years experience as a lead installer with knowledge of NC mechanical & electrical codes.

The candidate must have a clean driving record and a drug screen / background screen are required.

Great hours and excellent pay.  Benefits and paid time off available after 6 months. Short-term disability and life insurance provided by Dolan Design HVAC & Plumbing after 90 days (no cost to employee).

About the Role

The candidate must have knowledge of HVAC & electrical components of HVAC systems.
